Mantis Horror.
Back, after the holidays of 4days. Update.
Firstly, HAPPY NEW YEAR!! 2006 sucks to the core, oh purlease 2007, make it a good one ok?
Monday, sayangg and i watched Night At The Museum. All 10 fingers up!
Oh yes, on some nights ago...
Nana and i was on the phone in the late night.

Nana: Shit there's a praying mantis on the ceiling!!!
ME: On the ceiling? Upside down?! Is it green? Is it blah blah blah..
Nana: Yes LAH!
In the midst of hanging her clothes AFTER MIDNIGHT, the mantis turned his head and stared at her.
Nana: Shit shit shit, its staring at me now! Aiyah, my camera no batt if not i can take a pic of it.
ME: ...
Mantis then proceeds to crawl at a fast pace..and then ZOOMMMM!!! It flew towards her.
ME: *giggling*
Nana: *grabs her clothes and run to her room and lock the door*
So apparently, this babe went to lock her door thinking that the mantis would use his claw-like-hands to open her door while she left her windows OPENED.
End of trauma. Sleep.
Lets see..

#1 Praying mantis is CARNIVOROUS! (nana you've got meat right?)
#2 They have a triangular-shaped head with a large compound eye on each side.
#3 Praying mantids are the only insect that turn from side to side in a full 180-degree angle.
(it was staring at you when he turned his head.)
#4 Their eyes are sensitive to the slightest movement up to 60 feet away. (hanging your clothes disturbed him.)
#5 Female cannot fly because of the added weight of developing eggs. (So the one you saw was male?)
#6 Female is known to bite off the male's head while mating. (Male or female?)
#7 When threatened, they spread their wings to scare off their opponent. (he's threatened by you.)
#8 Male usually don't have long life span because their mothers kill the young males after birth.
(So..male or female?!)
Til then,
i'm LOVING the hubby..
