You're my experimental game.
Sunday 14/12/08,
Movie marathon with my inflight entertainment device, Fred Claus, Beverly Hills Chihuahua and Angus, Thongs and Perfect Snogging. After 13hours of flight, finally touched down at Zürich at 8pm, 7 hours behind Singapore. Temperature check, 0ºC. To Hotel Renaissance to turn in for the night.

Zurich

Monday 15/12/08,
Waking up to my Zürich breakfast, setting off from hotel at 8am to the next destination. Basel, in Switzerland, first glimpse of shopping, however, with no loot.

Towards Strasbourg in the noon for lunch and photo stops.

Reached Germany at 4pm where we stopover at Serways 2 hours later and finally checking into Gasthof Rappen for the night and dinner.

Strasbourg

Tuesday 16/12/08,
9am, Rothenburg Ob Der Tauber city tour after a measly amount of breakfast.

Temperature check, -3ºC, off to our next destination for the Loreley Linie cruise down St. Goar.

Checking into Holiday Inn for the night.

Rothenburg Ob Der Tauber

Wednesday 17/12/08,
9am, set off from hotel, temperature check, -3ºC. Major shopping spree at Cologne, my boots at good deals!

12.31pm, off to Amsterdam.

Cologne

Thursday 18/12/08,
8.30am, to Zaanse Schans, clog making and cheese factory at the traditional Holland Village.

3pm, shopping at Amsterdam and venturing the red light district at night.

Seriously hawt girls at the window display in different shapes and sizes for you to choose. Instead of singing "How much is that doggie in the window?", you go "How much is that hottie in that window?"

Amsterdam (Part 1)
Amsterdam (Part 2)

Friday 19/12/08,
9am, set off from Dorint hotel to Brussels, temperature check, 2ºC.
10.14am, hello Belgium! Sightseeing at The Atomium, the cheeky Manneken Pis and savoring on frites with my choice of samurai sauce. Fries here is nothing compared to frites in Belgium.

4.30pm, check in Novotel Brussels. Dinner-ed at chez Leon while i roam the night Christmas market alone afterwards.

Brussels (Part 1)
Brussels (Part 2)

Saturday 20/12/08,
8am, set off from hotel, towards Troyes, in France. Guilt free shopping starts and i bagged home clothings from McArthurGlen Designer Outlets, in short, factory outlets. However, in the midst of the road trip towards Paris, the coach decided to throw some tantrums, thus leaving us stranded on the highway. Made it to Sens for a stopover for dinner and shopping, while waiting for the next coach to get us back.

Sunday 21/12/08,
It was only at 12am then we finally reached Mercure La Defénse Parc in Paris. We had to wait for the next morning before the baggages were sent to our hotel though.
Bonjour! Had my first French breakfast and went on to Paris City tour. Arc De Triomphe, Champs Elysees, Lourve Museum, Eiffel Tour and so on.

Paris (Part 1)

Monday 22/12/08,
Temperature check, 6ºC.
After breakfast, discovered Disneyland's Magic Kingdom where you wish upon a star and dreams come true. I didn't meet all of the classic Disney heroes and heroines who lived once upon a time in fairytales happily ever after, but only Donald Duck and 2 anonymous characters. Needless to say, i didn't missed being thrilled by the Indiana Jones roller coaster, that spin me 360 degrees and i braved through it alone.

After half a day in the happiest place on earth, Kevin came picking me up at my hotel. Driving around the la défense area, missing the exits of highways just because the car was not equipped with a GPS. Kebabs for dinner and booze afterwards.

Paris (Part 2)
Paris (Part 3)

Tuesday 23/12/08,
7.15am, set off from hotel to the train station. Boarded Eurostar for a 3 hours bullet choo-choo ride to our destination, St Pancras, London. Photo stops at magnificent sights of London, Big Ben, Westminister Abbey, Tower Bridge, St. Paul's Cathedral, Buckingham Palace and more.

Of course, not forgetting the shopping before checking in to Hilton Olympia for the night.

London (Part 1)

Wednesday 24/12/08,
Waking up to a Christmas Eve with my English breakfast, strolling around Kensington area and for further last grabs before taking off.

Climax of the trip, i couldn't find my passport upon checking out of hotel, which caught me in frantic mode. After ransacking up and down, left to right, in and out of the hotel and baggages, the red book was camouflaged within my red bag. Heaving a sigh of relief, onwards to Heathrow Airport. On second thought, it wouldn't be such a bad idea leaving me in London.
On board the plane, halfway in the midair across Afghanistan, a rather shocking incident took place. Dad actually passed out due to low blood pressure, after doctor's deduction. It was an array of happenings, with him passing out, the oxygen tank and crews of the flights involved, it practically gave me a shock of a lifetime but i handled it calmly, alone. Details shall be spared. Alls well after 8hours of SOS.

London (Part 2)

Thursday,
Merry Christmas!!
According to Singapore time, i was still in Heathrow Airport, living in 2 time zones. Touched down at 2.42pm, home. Tonnes of unpacking and laundry to be done.
Dinner-ed at Cityhall with a pilot.

Friday,
After a deserving trip to Europe, i'm back to reality, work.

Saturday,
It's been long and i mean real long since i met up with my high school mates, come to think about it, i was rather foolish to practically give up many opportunities just for that one person who wasn't worthy of it. Be it friends or family, and even travel opportunities which i literally gave up 2 of them. Like i always say, you have to know some bastards to actually learn your lessons, but i never regretted learning through the hard way, my choice. I should be thankful though, for giving me precious life lessons, i made lemonade out of the lemons i got. Which in turn after drinking the lemonade, it refreshes me and a better person is reborn the next morning.
Dinner-ed at Malcolm's house, steamboat, MJ and later on at Holland Village's Wala Wala.

Sunday,
Stay home couch potato Sunday, uploading the truckloads of photos. I seriously mean truckloads, over 700 shots of them. My computer would shut down if i were to do them here, so as usual, refer to links given.
P.S. I've updated the previous post with Z-Out pictures.

Someone call the doctor, got a case of love bi-polar
Stuck on a roller coaster, can't get off this ride.
